Boswellia 2000 tablets may help provide temporary relief from the symptoms of osteo and rheumatoid arthritis such as pain, swelling, joint stiffness and reduced mobility. Boswellia serrata gum has traditionally been used in Ayurvedic medicine for its analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties.

The active B-boswellic acids inhibit the activity of two key enzymes that are involved in the inflammatory cascade; 5-lypoxygenase (5-LOX) which triggers the production of inflammatory leukotrienes, and Human Leukocyte Elastase (HLE) an inflammatory protease enzyme.

A healthy inflammatory reaction is a necessary part of the body’s defence mechanisms to aid healing and repel harmful agents; however a prolonged inflammatory response can result in tissue damage.

Each herbal tablet is standardised to provide 100mg of Boswellic acids.
